- HMI Model: CMT3108XP
- EasyBuilder Pro Version: V6.09.02.338
I am using the latest version EBPro (6.09.02.338) and it seems there have been changes made to the Alarm and Event Viewer objects? When setting up an Alarm Viewer object I no longer have the mode option to chose between active and historical alarms.
Hi @jnorris,
When using an ‘Alarm display’ object it is only possible to view active alarms. However, the ‘Event display’ object can and should be used to view historical events. I hope this helps!
When I use an event display, I do not have the category drop down to pick between active and historical as I did in the past.
I can set the filtering to recovered and acknowledged and recovered not acknowledged, is that correct?
Hi @jnorris,
When using a cMT X HMI like the cMT3108XP the event display object will always display all alarm history and can show any event with “Save to history” enabled inthe “Event (Alarm) Log”.
Note: The “real time” and “history” drop-down list in only available on legacy HMIs like the MT8073iE.
Also, it is possible to filter this list based on alarms that have recovered and were acknowledged (confirmed) using the “Filter” settings:
As of v6.08.02, within an Event Display object (When using a cMT X HMI), Real-time mode and History mode were already unified. There is no drop-down list for mode selection anymore.
So do the recovered but not confirmed and recovered and confirmed filter options limit the display to historical events then?
The ‘Event display’ object is used to view historical events (but it includes active events), so there are the filter options that you are referring to.
