How to create a Meter Display object

Introduction:

In this guide, we will walk you through creating and customizing a meter/gauge display for your project, allowing you to tailor it to your specific preferences.

Instructions:

  1. Start by navigating to the “Object” tab and select “Chart” from the “Illustration” section. In the drop-down menu, choose “Meter Display”:

  2. You have the option to customize the style of your meter display. You can either select “Custom” within the “Style” drop-down menu or choose from the predefined styles available:


    If you opt for a custom style
    (A). Go to the “Indicator” tab to personalize the appearance of the needle. You can change the color and design of both the “Pointer” and “Pin point” (the small ball in the middle):

    (B). In the “Range Limit” section, you can tailor the colors and range of your meter display. You can also modify the “Low limit” and “High limit” on this tab or configure “Dynamic limits”:

    (C). Within the “Scale” tab, you can customize the number and “Tick marks” on your meter display. You can also choose the color of the “Scale label” :

  3. For further customization, you can change the angle of your meter display. After selecting the “Angle” option, choose “Custom” (A), allowing you to adjust the degrees, including the “Direction” (B), “Start” and “End” (D), and whether you want a “Full circle” (C):

  4. In the “Value” section, adjust the “min” and “max” values of your meter display to match your preferences:
