Can Weintek's CODESYS operate as a PROFINET slave?

Hello All,

I’ve seen from news center that since April the built-in codesys supports PROFINET I/O controller functionality, being able to act as “master“ to field I/Os systems.

What about PROFINET I/O Device (Slave)? I see that in codesys menù is present this functionality, is supported from Weintek devices?

I would like to use weintek HMI as a gateway in order to reach Modbus RTU I/O from PROFINET LAN.

Thank you for contributing to our forum! At the moment, our CODESYS can only operate as a master when using PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or CANopen.
