EasyAccess2.0 Error

  • HMI Model: MT8102iEU
  • EasyBuilder Pro Version: created about 2yrs ago and resides in HMI

I am currently locked out of the HMI password to access the configuration but I am able to see the EasyAccess2.0 comms screen which displays “Connecting” with an error code (202)NetworkDNSError. When I log into EasyAcess2.0 online it shows no connection. However, in one of the tabs I am able to view its connection status history. I noticed starting back last September it would disconnect for approximately one second every other day and then it progressed to disconnectin/reconnecting each day, then to multiple seconds per day. However, this past May it showed the HMI connecting and disconnecting continuously until finally at the end of May it stopped communicating. The HMI is connected via an ethernet switch that is connected to a modem. There are also several other devices connected but they are still communicating over the internet. The devices within my control have static IP addresses. If it was and IP address conflict I wouldn’t expect to see it react that way overtime. Since I’m locked out of the HMI configuration I can’t provide the firmware or software version of EasyBuilder Pro that was used to create the program at the time. Thanks

Hi @ProcessControl,

Thank you for contributing to our forum.

To access the system settings, have you tried the default password “111111”? Also, have there been any changes to the system network, such as firewall updates or device modifications?

I have asked my customer to check, but I wouldn’t believe that that the connection would deteriorate like that over time, getting worse & worse over time and then failing…would you? I will follow up with my customer’s response. Thanks
