I’m not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask, but my company, which already uses Weintek HMI systems, is currently looking for a more advanced HMI capable of running a Windows operating system. Our goal is to create, export, and view PDF reports directly on the device.
I came across your older model, the cMT-iPC10, which I understand is no longer in production. Is there a current model available that supports these features?
Thank you! My goal is to create reports that include charts and data tables for oil sampling. Ideally, I would like to have a button that starts the sampling process and simultaneously begins saving the data for the report. Then, by pressing another button, the oil sampling and data saving would stop, and finally, a PDF report with the collected data would be generated and exported.
I have already tried using your HMIs by creating hidden pages with the necessary charts (temperature and pressure) and tables, and then printing the pages. However, this only gives me a PNG format, while my clients require a PDF.
Is there any way to overcome this limitation? I thought about using a macro, but I don’t think the HMI supports PDF format.
Unfortunately, we currently don’t have a way to create custom PDF reports within EasyBuilder Pro. We will update you when this feature becomes available from our developers.
Some possible workarounds may be to create a SQL database and generate PDF reports from there, but we do not have documentation on this.
