Currently you can log into Codesys without any username/password, is there a way to configure security?

To setup and require login credentials please use the following method:

Double-click “Device…” within the project tree:

Select the “Users and Groups” tab and login to the PLC:

Delete “Everyone” and “Edit” the “Administrator” password, then click “Ok”:

When finished, click the
button twice and when prompted, activate “user management”:

When finished, Codesys will display a “Device user logon” prompt when someone attempts to “Login” to the PLC:
