Cognex Barcode Scanner Data Man 70

Will a Data man 70 Barcode reader work with your HMI?
We have a USB keyboard that works without an issue. The Data man seems to power up but when triggered nothing shown on the display.

What is the current rating on the USB 2.0 port of the CMT3102X. The data man draws 2.5watts at 5 VDC.

I have not personally worked with a Dataman 70 series barcode scanner, but in order to avoid any potential issues I would recommend using a USB hub with an external power source. To troubleshoot this device, I would like to know if this scanner is connected to a PC will its readings update applications on the PC like “Notepad”?
