Hello,
I am trying to use my new HMI (cmt-FHDX-920), but I cannot see it in the EasyBuilder list.
I tried to use a cmt-FHDX-820 but I have the error message when I am trying to download the project : Error : please select a correct HMI model

What can I do ?

Hi @fabien1506,

The cMT-FHDX-920 is a Weinview HMI, not Weintek. Weinview distributes products to the Chinese market, the software often requires simplified Chinese and under some circumstances a Chinese instance of Windows as well.

If you need Weinview software or support, please contact your overseas distributor or Weinview directly.

Hello,

Of course I did not solve this problem. I have returned the Cmt-FHDX-920 to the Chinese vendor, and bought a Cmt-FHDX-820 in the USA and it worked like a charm !

I’m pretty sure only the firmware changes between both versions but anyway…

Hello, how are you?

I had the same issue some time ago. After speaking with the engineering team at Weinview, they informed me that it’s necessary to use the Chinese version of the software. However, your operating system also needs to be in a Chinese version. Once I installed a Chinese VM with Weinview, I was able to work normally.

It’s a bit of a hassle, especially because of the language, but it worked.

I’m fine thanks for asking.
Ok I did not get courage to install a Chinese version of Windows, and have preferred to order a US version of the product.
I am very happy with that product by the way.
