How to add email addresses to existing application?

To add an email address to an existing application, you can use the “contact editor” within the object tab:
This object will appear similar to and function as shown within this demonstration: Link
Is it also possible to have the end user setup the email account on the screen? (Server, User Name, Password…)

The SMTP settings can be modified within the ‘e-Mail’ tab of the HMIs settings menu:

Select the e-Mail tab and click SMTP server:

Configure the server settings:

Click “ok” when finished .

Select “Sender information” to configure the HMI as the sender:
I don’t see the email option in the system settings. Is this only available in the newer OS versions? My OS version is 20220318.
This tab will be accessible when “Enable e-Mail function” is set within the “System Parameter Settings” of the HMI project:
