Hi,

Do u guys have a video explain where I can disable a button after being pressed? Thanks!
I’m reading a plc tag that enable a button however after I pressed I want the button to be insivible.

Hi @Rafaelk21,

This video demonstrates a couple of methods to control the visibility of an object with a boolean variable.

Hi,

I can enable and disable them easily but the buttons are not respecting the delays that I have on my TIA, do I need to enable anything?

Hi @Rafaelk21,

Can you describe the purpose of the delays in TIA and provide an example as to how you’d like this button to work?

Yes, for example TIA makes buttons enable or not depending on what buttons we press on our siemens hmi, but the button follow by a small message for the operator to see and should be in sync.

The buttons work perfect but my hmi is reading the bits faster than my plc send the bit I think (1 - enable the button/0- disable

Thank you for the explanation, now just for my reference can you explain what is happening when this button is clicked vs what should happen on the HMI?

Note: Some images or screenshots in a step by step format may be helpful since I don’t have the project on hand.

Hi,

Basically when I press a button ( this button dissapears and a new one is available)a message appears with the new button too, the logic is working, I can hide the old button, the new is showing as well as the message, the problem is that the new button should be in sync with the message however that is not working.

It’s possible to upload videos? Would be better than an image.

Hi @Rafaelk21,

The forum does not support video uploads, but you can upload a video privately to a YouTube account and share it with me via a PM.

But did u understand what I mean about the buttons?

@Rafaelk21,

I did not quite understand what you mean by:

I think that some before and after images, a gif, or a video would be helpful if you can provide either of these. Thank you!

Hi,

I solved the problem! I wasn’t addressing the right buttons! Sorry for taking your time!
