Customer is asking What is weintek’s suggestion for cold junction compensation when using the IR Temperature modules?

The CJC function exists in our iR-AI04-TR module, no matter the previous or current PCB version.

In the previous board version, a CJC sensor was in the iR-AI04-TR module. It’s possibly interfered by internal heat in the module.
In the current board version, a CJC hole is just for hardware calibration, users do not need to use the CJC hole.

So not only exists but is active all the time no matter the PCB version? Or does it have to be enabled somehow?

I think it is active all the time. All your stock units (Hardware code on the label AF:0A) has a CJC hole.
