First time with a Micro800 as we cannot run Connected Components Workbench.

I suspect that Rockwell has changed the format of exported global tags in the new Design Workbench.

I’ve seen two issues with tag importing.

Item 1

When importing tags, they are visible to select from the Rockwell exported xlsx file, but it appears that some are missing inside of structures. (Specifically it’s missing several REAL tags inside of the GAIN_PID structure). It seems to be skipping ever other tag. Combined with Item 2, I can’t tell if it recognizes arrays or not as it seems to partially recognize arrays of structures, but not arrays of simple variables?

Item 2

When importing, it says “tags imported sucessfully”. However, the tag library and viewer has no entries. I’ve tried simple individual tags (BOOL, INT, REAL) and taking the whole tag list in, same result no tags imported.

Thank you for your question. We are aware of recent changes introduced in Rockwell Design Workbench, and our R&D team is actively working on developing a new or updated driver to address these updates. At this time, we don’t support the new file format generated by Rockwell’s design workbench.
