I’m quoting a project for a customer requesting that all 3 screens being developed as part of this application can be viewed simultaneously by users connected to the network.

Could each of them have an instance of cMT-Viewer on their computer or is there a limit to how many sessions of that viewer can be open?

If that’s not ideal, what other options would allow multiple users to simultaneously view different screens of this application? It will be displayed on the HMI at the control panel but other engineers will want to monitor different screens from elsewhere in the room.

For context - this is an R&D chemical process skid. So several chemists and chemical engineers will be a part of this and wanting to monitor different things while the process is running.

Thank you for contributing to our forum.

Each HMI can support 3 clients connections, but if configured it can support up to 10. This can be done with System Parameters > Remote Tab > CMT Viewer section.

Please note that this is only for local connections.
