For troubleshooting purposes can you please add or change the following and let us know the result:
- Add a Recipe View object for Code_SQL
- Add ASCII object addressed to EM1-0 memory
- Add ASCII object addressed to the Code_SQL.CodeTop recipe
- Change the 10ms delay to 1000
- Change the 50ms delay to 1000
When finished please run the macro and let us know if the CodeTop data transfers from EM1-0 to Code_SQL.CodeTop. And, please confirm if the data in Code_SQL.CodeTop is then added to the recipe database.
I think there is something wrong with my external memory, i added the ascii object boxes and loaded into the HMI and the boxes are not present.
My HMI has the onboard MicroSD card, i have a FAT 32 card inserted. (32 gig)
I have posted the question in another forum question is there anything i need to do with this card once it’s inserted. The feedback i got was nothing as long as it’s format @ FAT 32.
Is there anything else that needs to be done with this external memory?
Are there system parameters i can check to make sure it’s seeing the card?
Could it be that the MicroSD is limited to 4gig?
Did you configure the extended memory location within your project to “SD card” as in the image below?
