Can I use a USB hub to add additional USB ports to the CMT-FHDX device?
The one USB port is occupied with the touch screen. I’d like to add a flash drive for recipe/data storage & backup.
Some touch monitors have a USB hub built-in. It would be great if we could use the port on the monitor.

Hi @cross2010,

You can totally add additional USB ports to your HMI with a USB hub. Check out this helpful video that demonstrates how to designate a USB drive as either “USB1” or “USB2” within your application.

To avoid a possible noise issue, you may add an external USB hub such as a USB hub designed for a PC/IPC rather than using a touch monitor that has a built-in USB hub.
