Hello,

I’m having trouble updating my HMI.

  1. Extract .cxob through USB or Ethernet (have tried both)
  2. Decompile with EBpro
  3. Change nothing about the HMI program
  4. Recompile HMI program
  5. Transfer newly compiled .cxob via USB or Ethernet (have tried both)
  6. HMI starts, displays my splash window briefly, then displays Weintek splash briefly, then displays my splash window again and then goes black (backlight and power indicator LED remain lit).
  7. Only way to boot again is to DIP switch, reset and then restore through USB with the original .cxob.

Is there a setting I may be missing?

I may’ve created the “System Settings” file incorrectly.
Deleted it and created a new one, being sure to select “cMT X Series”.

“Download (PC → HMI)” appears to work fine now.
