What is the iR-ETN's Max number of TCP/IP connections?

What is the iR-ETN's Max number of TCP/IP connections?

Regarding the iR-ETN module, the data sheet references 8 connections for TCP/IP. What are those 8 connections? Would that be 8 industrial computers running a third-party software ie python could communicate to the iR-ETN at the same time?

That is correct. Let’s say you set up one Codesys PLC that controls the ETN coupler module, you still can use the EasyRemote IO app to pull data from the coupler (The app uses Modbus TCP to talk to the ETN) at the same time while the PLC is controlling the ETN. Or you could use a 3rd party Modbus client app to pull data or configure the certain parameters such as selecting a signal type for an analog signal channel.
