  • Hi everyone, I’m working on a program that has the option to send and receive data from the cloud, using MQTT, and with the Azure IO Hub option, but when I try to fill in the Connection String field, it only shows me an error and I’m not sure how I should configure this functionality. Is there a video tutorial that explains how to configure this functionality? Thank you very much.

Hi @rescobar,

The connection string should come from the “Primary connection” string in the Azure IoT dashboard:

It should have a format similar to what is shown below:

Hi Brendon, thank you so much for your help. The page I’m using doesn’t look exactly like this one, but it helped me understand how to fill out those fields. I’ll keep trying to see if I can get the connection working.

You are most welcome, the image above may be a bit dated but I setup an Azure IoT connection sometime last year and I remember the process being similar to what is listed in our documentation which the images above were pulled from. If you still have trouble getting this setup within the next hour please let us know!
