Our Event (Alarm) Log is displaying all alarms throughout the day. But by the next morning, they are all gone. It’s not a power off issue, as we’ve tested that. Seems like a date driven problem. Should be something simple, but I’m not finding the trick, including Operation Log Settings. Followed steps from We!ntek videos, but not working.

Event Display Properties > History Control > Enabled
Event (Alarm) Log > Event > Settings > General > Save to history

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @psimm,

We have a couple of follow-up questions regarding your setup:

  1. How are you currently using the History Control feature within your Event Display Properties?
  2. What values have you tried entering into the memory registers?

Additionally, could you please share screenshots of your History/Control settings within the Event (Alarm) Log?

Thank you!

Hello Aaron,

I don’t see how to attach the screen shot and getting “Sorry, you can’t embed media items in a post.” when I attempt to paste into body of message. Please advise.

As a side note, data loss is not dependent on quantity of alarms in log, therefore it doesn’t appear it’s due to space available.

I tried using the UPLOAD feature through the image above, but I get the same error message.

Hi @psimm,

Apologies the problem was on our side. Could you please try and upload the images again.

Thank you

Hi @psimm,

Could you try testing without the History Control address within the Event display? There may be memory overlap or incorrect commands being sent.

Please let us know of your findings.
Thank you!

Please confirm you want us to disable History Control from the Event Display>General

Hi @psimm,

Yes that history control at LW-30 within the event display object. Please let us know of your findings.

Thank you!

Thank you for the confirmation. We will run it tonight and let you know tomorrow.

Aaron,

That solved our problem! Thank you very much for your help.

Hi @psimm,

I’m glad to hear the issue has been resolved. If you run into any other problems, don’t hesitate to let us know. Have a great day!

Thanks, I will.
