Can the RS-485 COM ports on the CMT-x HMI/CODESYS systems be accessed by the onboard CODESYS system?

Hi @dimmed1102,

The HMI’s built-in CODESYS can only access Ethernet LAN 1 and CAN Bus ports if available. However, communication from the HMI’s serial ports or LAN 2 can be routed to CODESYS via the method described within this post: Link

Thanks for the quick reply! Working through the post now, but I don’t appear to have “MODBUS Server” available as a selectable option within the “New Device/Server” list as described in Step 9. Has the device been renamed or removed at some point?

It may be called, “Modbus RTU/TCP Slave” if you are using software obtained from Maple Systems:
