Introduction:
In this post, we’ll guide you through accessing WebView, a feature that lets you interact with your HMI directly from your browser. With WebView, up to four users can connect and control the HMI.

Instructions

Connect your PC to the HMI via Ethernet and enter the HMI’s IP into your preferred browser. This will open the EasyWeb login page, which will prompt you to enter the Admin password to login to this device:
Note: Default password is “111111”.

In EasyWeb, you can find the WebView Settings in the side menu under the Features section. To access your HMI’s WebView, simply enable the WebView Settings and select any other options as needed. When configured, you can access your HMI through WebView by either clicking the WebView button at the top right corner of the screen or by entering the HMI’s WebView address directly in your browser (e.g., [IP ADDRESS]/app/dashboard):

In WebView, enter the password for the selected account, as mentioned “111111” is the default password:

While logged in, you can interact with your HMI in a manner similar to VNC:

Finally, click the three-line menu button in the top left corner of the screen to access additional options.
- In the first group, you can scale the viewer to fit within your browser window or match the project resolution.
- In the second group, you can change the position of the toolbar icon and the panning square used to pan around the view area.
- In the third group, you’ll find the system settings and logout options.
